MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – Todd Philip Wilkerson, a 53-year-old resident of Ardmore, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to one count of sexual abuse in Indian Country. This charge carries a potential sentence of life imprisonment and a fine of up to $250,000.

The indictment accused Wilkerson of engaging in sexual contact on March 26, 2025, with a victim who was unable to understand the nature of the act or communicate unwillingness to participate. The incident took place in Carter County, within the Chickasaw Nation Reservation boundaries.

The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Chickasaw Lighthorse Police Department, and the Ardmore Police Department. The plea was accepted by U.S. Magistrate Judge Jason A. Robertson in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. A presentence investigation report has been ordered.

Wilkerson’s sentence will be determined by a U.S. District Court Judge after reviewing the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other factors. Until sentencing, Wilkerson remains in custody under the United States Marshals Service.

Jacob Layton Earley, a 22-year-old resident of Ardmore, Oklahoma, has been sentenced to 28 months in federal prison for possessing a firearm and ammunition while being legally prohibited from doing so.
