Coweta resident pleads guilty to child sexual exploitation material possession

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – Cody Michael DeGraw, a 30-year-old resident of Coweta, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to possessing material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor. This offense carries a potential sentence of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.

The indictment accused DeGraw of knowingly possessing visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct from December 20, 2023, until February 27, 2025. The investigation was conducted by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

U.S. Magistrate Judge Jason A. Robertson accepted the plea and ordered a presentence investigation report. The final sentence will be determined by a U.S. District Court Judge after reviewing the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other factors.

DeGraw is currently in the custody of the United States Marshals awaiting sentencing. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Morgan Muzljakovich and Sarah McAmis are representing the United States in this case.
