Tyrone Noble, 59, has been sentenced to 15 months in federal prison for illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition. The sentence was announced by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

Noble pleaded guilty on June 25, 2025, after law enforcement officers found him with a 12-gauge shotgun and five rounds of Winchester 12-gauge ammunition on December 2, 2024. At that time, Noble had a previous conviction for a crime punishable by more than one year in prison.

The investigation involved the Okfuskee County Sheriff’s Office, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Lighthorse Tribal Police Department.

“This case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the Department of Justice to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime,” according to the press release.

U.S. District Judge Robert J. Shelby presided over the sentencing hearing in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Noble will stay in custody pending transfer to a Bureau of Prisons facility to serve his non-paroleable sentence. Assistant U.S. Attorney Kevin Gross prosecuted the case.
