The Chisholm in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, will host its “Summer Sounds” concert series on the third Thursday of June, July, and August. The event is free and designed for families. A food truck will be available to sell dinner starting at 6 p.m., followed by live music from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Horizon Hill, the home of territorial governor A.J. Seay. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.

The Chisholm operates as an affiliate of the Oklahoma Historical Society (OHS). The OHS’s mission is “to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people.” Founded in 1893 by members of the Territorial Press Association, the OHS manages museums, historic sites, and affiliates throughout Oklahoma.
