A Jenks man, Jason Gardner Davis, 52, has been sentenced to 78 months in federal prison for receiving and distributing child pornography. U.S. District Judge John D. Russell also ordered Davis to serve 10 years of supervised release after his prison term, pay $5,100 in restitution and monetary assessments, and register as a sex offender upon release.

The sentencing follows an investigation that uncovered 99 images and 39 videos of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct on Davis’ cellphone. According to court records, between October 2022 and February 2023, Davis received sexual gratification from obtaining and sharing these materials. He distributed child sexual abuse material to an undercover agent while communicating through a social media application.

Law enforcement executed a search warrant at Davis’ residence where they discovered the illicit content, which included images of pre-pubescent children being sexually abused and depictions of sadistic acts.

Davis was taken into custody following his guilty plea in May and will remain detained until he is transferred to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Ashley Robert and Nathan Michel prosecuted the case.

According to the Department of Justice’s Project Safe Childhood initiative, launched in May 2006, federal efforts are coordinated with state and local resources to address online child exploitation by locating offenders and rescuing victims.
