The Oklahoma Wine Trails app has introduced a digital passport feature, aiming to make visits to the state’s wineries more engaging and convenient. According to Madi Franklin, Oklahoma Viticulture & Enology Coordinator, “The new app update will make exploring our Oklahoma wineries easier and more interactive for tourists and enthusiasts alike. We hope the addition of new producers, accessible trail routes, and interactive check-ins will incentivize more people to continue to explore our developing wine regions.”

The updated app allows users to follow nine curated wine routes across different regions of Oklahoma. Each route highlights three to six wineries. With the new features, users can earn digital badges, collect points, and receive prizes by checking in at participating locations. Paper passports are still accepted, with updated printed versions expected soon.

The app is available for download on both the App Store and Google Play.

Oklahoma Agritourism operates as part of the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry. The program works to promote agricultural experiences statewide and assists producers in developing agritourism venues.
