The NFIB Oklahoma PAC has announced its endorsement of 23 candidates running for the Oklahoma Legislature. This political action committee, composed entirely of NFIB members in the state, supports three Senate candidates and 20 House candidates who are seen as pro-small business.
Jerrod Shouse, NFIB State Director, emphasized the importance of small businesses to Oklahoma's economy. "Small businesses are the foundation of our state’s economy, creating good-paying jobs and thriving communities," he stated. Shouse highlighted a recent survey indicating that rising costs are significantly impacting job creators in the state. He noted that these endorsed candidates understand the challenges faced by small business owners and support policies that facilitate business operations in Oklahoma.
Shouse urged Oklahomans to back these candidates in the upcoming general election on November 5, with early voting starting on October 30. More information on voter registration is available at http://www.ok.gov/elections.
The endorsement from NFIB Oklahoma PAC is considered influential due to the active participation of small business owners and their networks in elections. The committee bases its political support on candidates' positions and records concerning key small-business issues.
The endorsed Senate candidates include Warren Hamilton for District 07, Joanna Dossett for District 35, and Dave Rader for District 39. In the House races, endorsements were given to Eddy Dempsey (District 01), Bob Ed Culver (District 04), Mark Chapman* (District 12), Dell Kerbs (District 26), Ken Luttrell (District 37), John Pfeiffer (District 38), Denise Crosswhite-Hader (District 41), Jay Steagall (District 43), Daniel Pae (District 62), Rande Worthen (District 64), Clay Staires (District 66), Suzanne Schreiber (Districts both listed as Districts 70 and also Melissa Provenzano listed here as well which may be an error in listing or duplication within original text) , Mark Vancuren (District 74), Eric Roberts (District 83), Tammy West (Districts both listed as Districts both listed as Districts both listed as Districts both listed as Districts both listed as Districts both listed as Districts both listed as Districts both listed as Districts both listed as Districtrictsthere may be an error or duplication within original text) , Tommy Hardin (DistHardin HardinHardinHardinHardindistrict86EllynHefner(District87MaxWolfley(District95andMarilynStark(District100).
