The State Historic Preservation Office is set to host a webinar on July 8 at noon, focusing on grant funding opportunities from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The session will be led by Diana Maxwell and Nicole Vann from the National Trust’s Grant Office.

These grants support nonprofit organizations and public agencies in planning, education, and physical restoration projects aimed at advancing preservation efforts. Over the past decade, more than $1 million has been awarded to various projects in Oklahoma, with individual grants ranging from $2,500 to $250,000. The presenters will share examples of how communities in Oklahoma have utilized these funds and provide guidance on applying for support for local projects.

Interested participants can register online for the webinar. For further details, contact Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer Lynda Ozan at 405-522-4484 or via email at lynda.ozan@history.ok.gov.
