Meet Western’s new Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Keila Manos. One of her goals is to help our students get the most of their Western experience as they prepare for further education or to enter the workforce.
Dr. Manos has almost wrapped up her first week as VP, so let’s get to know her more!
She grew up in Friendship, OK, and is a graduate of Navajo High School. “I am thrilled to be able to return home and serve in our community. I look forward to working with the students, faculty, and staff at Western and contributing to southwest Oklahoma's future," said Dr. Manos.
She continued her education earning:
- B.A. in Psychology from Oklahoma State University,
- M.S. in Educational Leadership, Oklahoma State University
- M.A. in Sociology, Arizona State University
- Ph.D. in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies, Oklahoma State University
Dr. Manos came to Western a few years ago with many years of higher education work experience from several universities across the U.S. You may have already seen her on campus as an Adjunct Sociology Instructor or in the Admissions Department, serving as the Director of Student Success and Assistant Registrar! Western is thrilled to have Dr. Manos as part of our Pioneer family! Help us welcome her into her new leadership role on campus.
