Cameron will head to Wichita Falls, Texas, to participate in the Midwestern State Invitational hosted by MSU at the Wichita Falls Country Club, starting on Monday, Oct. 10.
The WFCC is a par 71 – 6,882 yard course. The Aggies will take two teams this week to compete for the first time this season.
CU is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational. Hamish Murray would lead the Cameron with a seventh-place finish with a score of 68-72-67—287.
Last season the Black-and-Gold placed fifth in the MSU Invitational. Joey Kirk was the Aggies' top finisher with a -2 score, tying for ninth place with a low round of 67.
The 16-team event features: Arkansas-Fort Smith, Blinn, Cameron, Cameron B, Colorado Christian, Colorado State-Pueblo, Dallas Baptist, Fort Lewis, Midland CC, Midwestern State, Midwestern State B, UT Tyler, UT Permian Basin, Southern Nazarene, Texas A&M International, and Western New Mexico.
Monday will see the teams play 36 holes with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. for the first round. The second round is scheduled to start with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m., followed by the final round on Tuesday morning with traditional tee times beginning at 8:30 a.m.
