A three-part lecture series titled "A.M. with the Archivist" is set to begin at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center (CSRHC) in Enid, Oklahoma. The series will start on Saturday, January 11, and each session will be held from 10-11 a.m. in the museum's Research Center.

The first session, "Imperialism the 1890s," will feature CSRHC archivist Aaron Preston discussing the national shift in American ideology during that period and its impact on people in the Cherokee Outlet.

On Saturday, January 25, Preston will present the second part of the series, "The Progressive Era: 1900-1929." This presentation will focus on President Theodore Roosevelt’s policies and national transformations during this era and their effects on the Cherokee Outlet.

The final session is scheduled for Saturday, February 8, under the title "The Great Depression in the Cherokee Outlet." Preston will explore how the region experienced growth and challenges during this global economic downturn, drawing heavily from oral histories of those who lived through it.

Attendance at each session is included with paid admission to the site, and no registration is required. For more information about CSRHC, visit csrhc.org or call 580-237-1907.
