#1. Experienced Andre Coimbra (6'9''-C-1986, played in 2018-19, plays pro in Uruguay) could not help Hebraica (3-6) in their game last Monday. Despite his very good performance Hebraica was defeated 73-69 in a derby game by the lower-ranked Olimpia (#10). Coimbra was the second best scorer with 17 points. He also added 6 rebounds in 32 minutes. Coimbra has relatively good stats this season 11.0ppg, 5.0rpg and 2.5apg.
#2. Gerardo Isla (6'7''-PF-1991, played in 2011-12, plays in Chile) led Valdivia to a victory against the second-ranked CD Espanol Osorno (2-1) 85-73 in the Chilean LNB in Sunday night's game. He scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Zona E. Club Deportivo Valdivia (4-0) is placed first. So far his team won all four games in the Regular Season. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Isla has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.0ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.8apg in four games he played so far.
#3. George Blaj-Voinescu (6'8''-C-2000, played in 2019-20, currently in Romania), who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala was not able to help Craiova (0-2) in their game last Sunday. Despite Blaj-Voinescu's good performance the ninth-placed Craiova (0-2) was defeated 79-71 on the road by the higher-ranked Pitesti (#6) in the Group A. He recorded 12 points and blocked 2 shots in 25 minutes. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Blaj-Voinescu averages 10.0ppg and 4.5rpg.
#4. Dylan Van Eyck (6'9''-F-1998, played in 2017-19, plays pro in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Chiusi (0-4) in their game against Fortitudo BO (3-1) in the Italian Serie A2 (second division). He recorded 6 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and made 2 blocks. The 14th-placed Chiusi (0-4) lost 67-71 in Bologna to the much higher-ranked (#3) Fortitudo BO in the Group Red. So far Chiusi lost all four games in the Regular Season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Van Eyck averages 8.3ppg, 7.3rpg and 2.5apg in four games.
#5. Yuri Sena (6'10''-C-1997, graduated '2018, plays in Argentina) contributed to an easy victory against the 15th-ranked Sarmiento de Resistencia Chaco (0-1) crushing them 101-71 in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina (second division) in Tuesday night's game. He recorded 7 points in 16 minutes. Tucuman Basket (1-1) is placed ninth in Conferencia Norte. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. This season Sena averages 4.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.5bpg.
#6. Jhan Paul Mejia (6'9''-F/C-1994, played in 2014-16, currently in Spain) contributed to Socuellamos' victory against the 12th-ranked Estudio 72-63 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) last Saturday. He recorded 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. It was his first game for Socuellamos this season. Mejia has also Spanish citizenship.
