Six players scored in double figures for the No. 3 Langston University Lions as they rolled Oklahoma Panhandle State 100-74 on Thursday night.
Langston never trailed after jumping out to a 12-0 lead in the first half. The Lions led by as many as 27 points in the second half as they improved to 22-1 overall and 16-1 in the SAC.
Tristan Harper led the Lions in scoring with 25 points overall and for his collegiate career notched surpassed 1,000-career points. James Ellis added 18, Anthony White finished with 16 and AJ Rainey chipped in 15. D'Monte Brown and Cortez Mosley also notched double figures with 12 and 11 points respectively.
Collectively, the Lions hit 56 percent (37-of-66) from the field and finished 17-of-27 from free throw range.
