Northeastern State women's tennis returns home Sunday, where they will face (RV) Drury at 2 p.m.
The RiverHawks last played on Wednesday at UA Fort Smtih and handled the Lions 6-1. No. 22 ranked Emilia Cosatto went 2-0 in singles play last week for the RiverHawks and earned MIAA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week Honors. The award is the first weekly accolade from the MIAA since 2020.
Drury (5-3) received votes in the last ITA poll and lost its last two matches. The Panthers are 2-1 this season when facing MIAA programs, and Sunday will be their first road test.
Sunday's meeting will be the 21st overall between the two programs; Northeastern State is 16-4 when facing Drury.
