On Sunday, December 8, the Cherokee Strip Museum in Perry will host a Christmas Tea event from 1:30 to 4 p.m. This gathering aligns with the Christmas Tour of Homes in Perry and is free for the public.
The museum, along with its gazebo and Rose Hill School, will feature festive decorations reflecting an old-fashioned Christmas atmosphere. Historical interpreters dressed in Victorian attire and young carolers will enhance the seasonal experience.
Children attending can participate in making and decorating traditional ornaments to take home. Refreshments including tea, hot cider, and cookies will be available for guests.

The museum and Rose Hill School operate as affiliates of the Oklahoma Historical Society (OHS), in partnership with the Cherokee Strip Historical Society. The OHS's mission focuses on collecting, preserving, and sharing Oklahoma's history and culture.
