The public is invited to attend a free program at the Heritage Center in Perry on January 28, at 7 p.m. The event will focus on Buster Keaton and his time in Perry, featuring a discussion led by Robert Burch from OETA. Attendees will also have the opportunity to view short clips from some of Keaton’s films. This event is being organized with the assistance of the Cherokee Strip Museum.
Following the program, the Cherokee Strip Historical Society will conduct a membership drive in the lobby of the Heritage Center. The society's main goal is to support the growth and development of the Cherokee Strip Museum, which aims to interpret the history of the Cherokee Outlet.
