EDA awards over $6 million in grants for economic development projects in Oklahoma in 2023

In 2023, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) issued 16 grants totaling $6,838,472 to fund economic development projects in Oklahoma.

This represents a 93.6% decrease from 2022, when the state received $107,402,627 in funding.

Oklahoma ranked 24th across the U.S. in total EDA grant funding for 2023. South Carolina topped the list with $30,038,466 in funding across 14 grants.

The Board of Regents of the University of Oklahoma received the largest EDA grant for funding an economic development project in the state, totalling $1,868,472.
