Antique doll exhibit opens February at Fred & Addie Drummond Home

The Fred and Addie Drummond Home in Hominy, Oklahoma, is set to host an antique doll exhibit throughout February. The display will be available for viewing from Saturday, February 1, until Friday, February 28. It will feature a collection of German-made dolls from manufacturers such as Armand Marseille, Kestner, and Koppelsdorf. Additionally, visitors can expect to see a significant assortment of china and porcelain dolls.

This exhibit is included with the standard admission fee to the historic Victorian-style Drummond Home. Admission prices are $7 for adults, $5 for seniors aged 62 and older, $4 for students, and free for children five years old and under. Members of the Oklahoma Historical Society enjoy free entry. The home operates Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Fred and Addie Drummond Home is located at 305 N. Price Ave. in Hominy and functions as part of the Oklahoma Historical Society (OHS). The OHS aims "to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people." Established in 1893 by members of the Territorial Press Association, it oversees museums, historic sites, and affiliates statewide while chronicling Oklahoma's history through various educational initiatives.
