Applications are now open for the Agriculture Enhancement and Diversification Program (AEDP) in Oklahoma. The program aims to develop or improve agricultural product uses, expand value-added production, and encourage diversified farming within the state. Interested applicants have until January 2, 2025, to submit their proposals.
The AEDP provides five types of grants or loans: Agriculture Event Grant, Farm Diversification Grant, Product Development and Research Grant or Loan, Value-Added Agriculture Grant or Loan, and Veteran or Young Farmer Grant or Loan. Each proposal must demonstrate a clear benefit to Oklahoma farmers and ranchers by creating new revenue streams.
For additional information about the AEDP, individuals can contact Jason Harvey at Jason.harvey@ag.ok.gov or call 405-606-1477.
