Experience "Spring on the Farm" at Oklahoma's historic pre-Civil War plantation home, Hunter's Home, on April 26. Located in Park Hill, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. During this time, the staff will prepare for the upcoming seasons with various activities.
The event will feature sheep shearing, butter and cheese making, and wool processing demonstrations. Visitors can also enjoy garden talks, children's activities, crafts, and shopping opportunities. Access to "Spring on the Farm" is included in the site's regular admission.
Hunter's Home is situated at 19479 E. Murrell Home Rd. It stands as Oklahoma's sole remaining plantation home from the pre-Civil War era. Admission details can be found at www.okhistory.org/huntershome.
