Men's cross country took sixth today at the Lone Star Conference Championships hosted by Midwestern State.
The Eagles were led by Owen Pearce who finished in third place individually with a time of 25:05.3.
Peace was followed Colten Brown (25:57.9) who finished 18th, and Tegan Arega (26:21.5) who finished 31st.
Griffin Chesire was the next to cross the finish line for OC with a time of 26:38.3, and Dylan Burrows (27:15.7) rounded out the top 5 for Oklahoma Christian in 45th.
"We didn't quite have the race we wanted today." head coach Wade Miller said after the race. "Owen ran strongly to take 3rd overall and make the podium. We need to look ahead and prepare for regionals in 2 weeks"
On November 19th, the team heads to Denver, Colorado to compete in the South-Central Regional Championship for a chance to advance to Nationals.
