The Oklahoma History Center will host the premiere of "Iman: Two Journeys of Faith, Rooted in Oklahoma’s Heartland" on April 10. The event is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m. Following the screening, a panel discussion will take place featuring the film's producers and other contributors. Dick Pryor, general manager at KGOU Public Radio, will moderate the discussion.

This documentary marks CAIR Oklahoma's first foray into filmmaking. It tells the story of two American Muslim women and their journeys of faith amidst rising hate. The film highlights their leadership roles within their community in Oklahoma and addresses the broader challenges of Islamophobia post-9/11.

The project received partial funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities’ United We Stand initiative and Oklahoma Humanities. However, it is noted that any views or conclusions presented do not necessarily reflect those of these organizations or the Oklahoma Historical Society.

Registration for this free event can be completed online.
