On December 14, Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum will open its doors for the annual holiday open house from 1-3 p.m. Visitors can enjoy seasonal decorations at the home of Gordon W. "Pawnee Bill" Lillie, a well-known Wild West Show entertainer. The ranch's outbuildings will also be adorned with holiday decor.

The event will feature tram rides, weather permitting, children's crafts, and photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Guests can enjoy hot cocoa and cookies during their visit.

The museum store offers various gifts including bison-themed items, western toys, fragrances, jewelry, and books. Those unable to visit in person are encouraged to explore the online store.

Entry to the holiday open house is included with paid admission to Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum. Members of the Oklahoma Historical Society or Friends of the Pawnee Bill Ranch Association receive free entry.

Before the open house begins, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., the Pawnee Bill Ranch Association will hold its annual meeting and meal for members and prospective members.

For further details, contact the ranch at 918-762-2513 or visit PawneeBillRanch.org for operational hours and admission fees. The ranch is located at 1141 Pawnee Bill Rd., Pawnee.

The Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum operates under the Oklahoma Historical Society (OHS), which aims to collect, preserve, and share Oklahoma's history and culture since its founding in 1893 by Territorial Press Association members. OHS manages museums, historic sites across Oklahoma, providing research archives, exhibits, educational programs, and publications chronicling state history.
