The Oklahoma Historical Society (OHS) Research Division has made over 200 episodes of the "Clara Luper Radio Show" accessible on its Audio Archives YouTube channel. Clara Luper, a prominent teacher and Civil Rights leader, played a significant role in leading student groups during Oklahoma City's first sit-ins in the late 1950s. These peaceful protests were pivotal in ending segregation in public places across Oklahoma.

The radio show aired for more than four decades, with most digitized episodes from the 1980s and 1990s. The program provides firsthand accounts of the community's experiences by covering topics related to the Civil Rights Movement, community events, and education.

For those interested in exploring more about Clara Luper's legacy, additional materials are available on The Gateway to Oklahoma History. The Clara Luper Collection includes over 220 digitized items such as campaign flyers, letters, brochures, and reports.
