FOIA Request to Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education Regarding State University Employees' Salaries on November 14, 2024.
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Sooner State News have requested records under the Oklahoma Open Records Act, 51 §24A.1 et seq. The request specifically seeks a list of all university employees' compensation details, including those from community colleges.
The information sought includes each employee's name, title, university name, employment type, and compensation amount. This data is critical in our mission to hold public institutions accountable and provide transparency to the public.
As a media organization involved in gathering and reporting news to the public, access to such public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities.
